Branch Library, LLC is honored to collaborate with the Pima County (AZ) Office of the Medical Examiner and DNAhawkshaw Genetic Genealogy to utilize Investigative Genetic Genealogy (IGG) in generating leads towards the identification of Mesquite Tree John Doe 1982.
Discovered on September 5th, 1982, the cranial remains of this 25 to 40-year-old unidentified male were found beneath a mesquite tree in a desert area near Tucson, Arizona. He is believed to be a victim of homicide.
In a strategic alliance, a team of independent IGG analysts have partnered with Intermountain Forensics to leverage their newly established Law Enforcement DNA Testing Fund to cover lab costs. Generous donations from individual donors directly supports this collaborative effort.
